Meagan and Jerry were such a sweet couple that were embarking on a new life together, beginning with a very classy day! When I began working with Meagan I could definitely tell that she was a bride that had refined tastes and high expectations for her once in a lifetime day, and those were certainly met. Enjoy the beautiful story of Meagan and Jerry's wedding day beginning at West End Church of Christ and ending at Cheekwood Botanic Gardens Massey Hall. The beautiful shots were taken by the wonderfully talented husband and wife team that are Gray Photography.
I had to start the post with the sign that was the church's marquee for the week. Completely appropriate, but not planned!
Meagan's beautifully classic invitations in creme and navy ink were chosen at Buchanan Ink.Papergoods were very important to Meagan and she wanted them to set the tone for guests and reflect her very refined and classic style. You can see those elements in every detail chosen.
Meagan's beautiful bouquet of light pinks and ivories, and all other floral decor, was designed by Vintage Florals.
Jerry and his groomsmen took this great shot across the street at a park that was perfect for outdoor shots on a mild day. Those clouds behind them brought in some of the strongest winds I have ever felt.
The beautiful programs in navy and fushia, and incorporating the invitations font, were designed by Sweet Life Designs.
This is a perfect walking out shot! Don't they both just look as happy as they could possibly be?!?
Meagan and Jerry loved sparklers, so we used those as their exit instead of petals or bubbles. She had adorable matches made with the same monogram on the programs.
That evening was so windy, we couldn't even keep the candles lit on the stairs, but at least the sparklers keep their glow for the picture!
Since Meagan and Jerry chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so we snuck them back in quickly to take these amazing shots! Matchless Limo's provided the getaway car, a white rolls royce.
Meagan and Jerry's guests enjoyed some fun cocktails and passed hor's doeurves while they finished pictures at the church and were then moved into the reception space to enjoy a night of dining and dancing. The tables were beautifully draped in a navy lamourand accented by menu's and tablenumbers created by Sweet Life Designs and topped with florals by Vintage Florals. The beautiful pale pink lighting and chinese lanterns was provided by my favorite lighting guru Blake Chaffin and Nashville Event Lighting.
The beautiful favor cake, right off of the cover of Martha Stewart Magazine, was created by hand by the bride and groom. Jerry spent manyhours stuffing favor boxes with personalized hershey kisses and hot glueing bows on the tops. You go Jerry!!
The beautifully designed cake, in light pink and quite delicious, was designed by Maples Wedding Cakes.
Instead of a topper, Meagan chose to have two fondant butterflies perched on the top of the cake which accented the design perfectly in its lightness.
After a night of dancing, Meagan and Jerry were whisked away for a wonderful and relaxing honeymoon at the Sandals St. Lucia. You can see her honeymoon recap in a past posting.
Thanks Meagan and Jerry for allowing us to be a part of this beautifully thought out and detailed day! We loved every minute of it and wish you two many, many years of happiness!
(I had to close with the color version of this picture. Just beautiful!)
