I love getting my daily posting from Snippet and Ink and one back several months ago featured an adorable concept that I wanted to pass along. As trends come and go in weddings, one big one is Candy Bars, implementing you and your groom's favorite candies, whether in a color scheme or not, and providing some nostalgia for your guests! An alternative to the candy bar is an old-fashioned soda bar! I love the old-fashioned soda's with the fun flavors and packaging and this would make such a fun interactive station for your guests whether served during the cocktail hour or as a part of a late night snack display. They can sometimes be tricky, and pricey, to locate, but it's great to try local shops that carry them to find out if you can purchase from them or trying a Costco, Cracker Barrel, or online source. Through Jones Soda you can customize your labels for a monogram or picture. Here are a few that I located:

Another adorable twist to an old-fashioned soda bar would be an old-fashioned soda fountain station with an attendant making old-fashioned soda's with different flavors of ice cream, like root beer floats or creme floats.
Most of all, think of ways to personalize your wedding! What could you implement that represents the two of you?
Happy Planning!
