One question I always ask brides in discussing vendors, have you chosen or would like to choose a videographer for your wedding? So many brides put it off as a option if the budget allows, or loves pictures just enough, but after the wedding I have had so many say that they regretted not having a videographer capture the moments that the photography just couldn't do justice for. What about the vows that the two of you spoke to each other, the fun sorority or fraternity song at your reception, a favorite song that the band played that you and your new groom danced to, so many memories that the videographer can capture!
One of my favorite vendors in town is McNeal Video and she is our spotlight for today! Enjoy getting to know Lynette and their team and see some fabulous videos, one of which is a December bride and groom of ours, Kate and Nate! :)

How would you describe your style or work: Classic, cinematic, and fun. We pride ourselves on telling the story of the wedding day in an entertaining and timeless fashion.
Favorite thing about your job: We love watching the day unfold for happy brides, happy grooms, and happy families
Magazine Must Have: I do most reading and research online, but its always nice when Cheryl brings me a copy of HER Magazine.
Guilty Pleasure: Coca Cola (year round) and Big Brother (during the summer months)
What Do You Do When You First Wake Up? Grab my iPhone, check my email, then head downstairs to my office.
When It Rains: Unless it thunders I’m probably not aware of it since I’m usually focused on editing a wedding.
Mac or PC: PC - and don’t try to pull me to the other side. What’s on your iPod? iPhone - lots of wedding videos!
Travel Dreams: up the stairs to the bedroom and sleep for about 3 days straight
What is your favorite part of the wedding and why: the “magical” moments – when the bride and groom see each other for the first time – the bride making her grand entrance -- the first dance when the couple is totally unaware of anyone else around them – watching the father of the bride sweep his daughter around the dancefloor. These are all important and emotional moments that the bridal couple themselves don’t get to see. Photos capture the moments, but video preserves the entire experience for them.
One piece of advice for brides-to-be: Just one? How about three?
1) Budget for and invest in a professional video! After the day is over, its too late, and most brides regret it. Our brides tell us that it was the best money they spent on their wedding day. And remember – wedding video is one of those things where the old adage is true: you get what you pay for.2) Hire a wedding planner! I can tell you from experience that having someone there to take care of all the details will make your day (and that of your vendors) much more enjoyable.
3)Allow plenty of time when setting your timeline for the day. Surround yourself with people that you love, and enjoy the day!
