Nashville Wedding: Jenny + EJ

We are truly blessed with the clients that we have the pleasure of working with, and one such couple was Jenny and EJ who were so thankful and so thrilled to be getting married! Their ceremony and reception took place at the Governor's Club Pleasant Hill Mansion in Brentwood on a beautiful June day and Dove Wedding Photography did their usual amazing job at documenting the day! Enjoy the sweet wedding day of EJ and Jenny! 

 

 

 

The florals were created by Vintage Florals.

 

The beautiful wedding cake was created by one of my favorites, Maples Wedding Cakes. 

One of EJ's favorite pastimes is golfing, which he did with his groomsmen the day before. The groom's cake is always a fun way to show a favorite of the groom, such as a hobby, sport, or characteristic about them.

Lighting was provided by Nashville Event Lighting.

Downtown Nashville Wedding- Melissa + John

I had the delight of working with a fabulously stylish couple, Melissa and John, in creating their downtown wedding for many out of town guests to enjoy! Melissa and John chose the West End United Methodist Church for their touching ceremony and the guests partied until the wee hours at the Hutton Hotel. Melissa and John chose a menu of stations ranging from a delicious tenderloin carving station, mashed potato bar, and low country shrimp and grits, complimented by a yummy cake by Signature Cakes by Vicki. Rhonda Patton of Rhonda Patton designs created the beautiful florals in creamy whites and shades of blue complemented by custom light blue, pintuck runners from Classic Party Rentals. Super T rocked the house with many of his classics, ending the evening with his rendition of the Love Train. Enjoy the beautiful photos documenting the day by the wonderful Inara Studios!

 

Sweet Life Designs created all of the papergoods for Melissa and John, including save the date, invitations, programs, and wish jar cards. 

I love that Marcia captured this moment right before Melissa and her father walked down the aisle, he was a mess! :) But, aren't all dad's?!

 

The beautiful gobo and uplighting was created by Colin of Tech Works.

Congratulations Melissa and John and we wish you many delightful years! You two are a one of a kind couple and we enjoyed working with you both soooo much and will miss talking to you all the time. Best wishes and lots of love!

Murfreesboro Wedding- Chuck + Corinne Part II

After a memorable and beautiful ceremony, captured by Nashville Wedding Videos, Chuck and Corinne's guests headed to Lascassas to enjoy cocktails, margarita's, and passed hors d'oeuvres pool side. Chef's Market created the wonderful "Texas and Tennessee" menu for the guests to partake of. Lickety Split entertained the group with traditional bluegrass music under the incredible sky and weather we had that day. Classic Party Rentals created an incredible layout for the guests to celebrate in and Nashville Event Lighting created a subtle amber tone as the afternoon faded into night. As guests moved into the reception tent, Super T cranked up the entertainment til the late evening. Enjoy Corinne and Chuck's reception documented by Phindy Studios!

The gorgeous peach toned cake and custom cake stand was created by Maples Wedding Cakes.

Super T entertained the guests all night long! The dance floor wasn't empty the entire night!

Congratulations Corinne and Chuck! We wish you two many, many happy years as you embark on a new life together. Good luck with school, Chuck, and we'll miss working with you both so much! Best wishes in Texas!

Murfreesboro Wedding- Chuck + Corinne Part I

We had the wonderful delight of working with an adorable couple who came in from Texas to celebrate with their friends and family. With family living here, and an Aunt with an incredible home to celebrate at, this was the perfect spot for a destination wedding! Guests stayed downtown at several hotels and were transported for the wedding to Murfreesboro by Matchless Limo. Corinne and Chuck chose to marry at the historic First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro where several family members were married and then all guests were transported to her Aunt's private residence in Lascassas. Enjoy the beautiful pictures taken by Mindy and Phil of Phindy Studios!
 

The wonderful Mary Elizabeth Long came out to Lascassas and did makeup and hair for Corinne and several others. The beautiful free flowing style that Mary Elizabeth created complimented Corinne's dress which was worn by her mother on her wedding day.

Corinne's beautiful lilly-of-the-valley bouquet and timeless florals were created by Chase Rivers of Eye Design Floral.

Corinne and Chuck's bridal party were dressed in black suits and ties to match, with the bridesmaid's complimenting in their choice of cocktail dress in a pastel shade. It was amazing that none of the girl's repeated a color.

Programs and papergoods were created by Sweet Life Designs.

A traditional scotsman in his garb walked Corinne and Chuck out of the ceremony... it was amazing! It sent chill's up your back.

Paul + Jennifer= Belle Meade Plantation Part 3

Paul+ Jennifer = Belle Meade Plantation Part 2

More beautiful details to share about Paul and Jennifer's downtown, destination wedding! These images were captured during the ceremony at Assumption Church in Germantown.

The beautiful papergoods, including the save the date, invite, and reception items, were created by Sweet Life Designs, incorporating Jennifer and Paul's colors and bird theme.

Once the ceremony was over, Mindy and Phil of Phindy Studios took the bridal party around downtown and got some fun shots. Luckily, the morning and early afternoon rain we had gotten stopped in just enough time to get some of these beautiful shots.

The guests were treated to fun drinks and hors d'oeuvres, provided by A Dream Come True Catering, on the porch of the Carriage House at Belle Meade Plantation and were entertained by several musicians of The Joe Harvey Band.

The beautiful aqua and white, bird themed cupcakes were created by The Bake Shoppe. They perfectly matched the cake topper that Jennifer had found on Etsy of two aqua colored love birds!

All florals were designed and created by A Delightful Day as we incorporated white florals and birds to accent Jennifer's theme.

Paul + Jennifer= Belle Meade Plantation

We are so excited to be able to share the full recap of Paul and Jennifer's wedding on July 11th with all of the beautiful detailed goodness! This will be a three part post because we have some many beautiful pictures captured by Phindy Studios that truly shows the story of Paul and Jennifer as it unfolded. Since Jennifer and Paul are from out of town, along with all of their guests, the weekend began with the rehearsal at Assumption Church in Germantown, followed by a quaint rehearsal dinner at the Germantown Cafe'. Wedding day began for the ladies and gentlemen getting ready in their suites at the Hampton Inn on 4th with hair and makeup by Mary Elizabeth Long. Enjoy these wonderful photographs of the day and look for more postings to follow.

Jennifer and her bridesmaids beautiful bouquets in whites, and the men's flowers were created by Rhonda Patton Designs.

Jennifer's bridesmaids, her best friend and two sisters, chose J.Crew bridesmaids dresses in the same color at their choosing.

Paul and his groomsmen chose tuxes through Men's Warehouse.

Murfreesboro Wedding- Corinne + Chuck

Corinne and Chuck were a sweet, Texan couple who we had the delight of working with to plan this beautiful, detailed, and personal event for the two of them. From the get go the plan was for the ceremony to be at the First Presbyterian Church of Murfreesboro, where Corinne's parents and grandparents were married, and a tented reception for friends and family at her Aunt's home in Lascassas. We were so lucky with the incredibly unseasonable weather in July with a 79 degree day and sunshine! We were prepared for months for scorching heat with air and fans, but none was needed because of the weather we were blessed with! So many wonderful vendors like Alison from Classic Party Rentals helped in collaborating to create an incredible event. Corinne's beautiful heirloom dress was worn by her mother on her wedding day! Such an incredible story there and such a personal touch!

The english garden/heirloom style florals were created by Chase of Eye Design Florals.

All of Corinne's bridesmaids chose spring colored cocktail dresses and it was wonderfully enchanting to see so many styles and not one repeated in color!

Jay of Maples Wedding Cakes designed a gorgeous, and delightfully tasting, wedding cake. To accent the table designs, Corinne spent months antiquing in Texas to find antique vases, teapots, and lamps.

Super T provided a rockin' party for Corinne, Chuck, and their guests with a rousing rendition of Love Train for their exit!

Downtown Nashville Wedding: Lauren + Billy

Lauren and Billy had a beautiful wedding in downtown Nashville this past weekend and we were so blessed to be able to work with them through their entire wedding planning process. Lauren had very clear visions on incorporating darker, more fall like colors into her wedding scheme and bringing those to life with textures and luxurious florals. We began the day at The Church of Christ the King for a beautiful ceremony and rockin' reception at 3rd aVenue South. Trotline created a night of dancing and fun for Lauren, Billy, and their guests. Enjoy the beautiful details captured by Melanie and Sean of McLellan Style!

The beautiful florals were created by Rhonda Patton Designs.

The custom, gorgeous invitations with natural paper and hand calligraphied names were created at Buchanan Ink.

Lauren's centerpieces were an arrangement of manzanita branches, orchids, and gold accents. A large centerpiece arrangement was the focal point of the reception space with manzanita branches, white phalanopsis orchids (which were also in the bride's bouquet), white hydrangea, and hanging orbs to accent.

The beautiful lighting with a custom gobo monogram from their invitation, uplighting, and pinspotting was provided by Nashville Event Lighting.

The guests began the evening with passed hors d'oeuvres reflecting the Texas and Tennessee roots of the bride and groom with fresh margarita's waiting at the door for guests. Later the guests enjoyed other Texas and Tennessee themed foods in stations created by Chef's Market.

The incredible cakes, both bride and groom, were created by The Bake Shoppe with sugar figurines of the bride and groom with a replica of her dress and shoes.

Lauren and Billy, we were so thrilled to be a part of this incredible day for you two! You were a delightful couple to work with and we will truly miss it! Many, many wishes for many delightful years!

Nashville Wedding: Rebecca and Brett

I couldn't wait to show the beautiful pictures showing the story of Rebecca and Brett. They were such a sweet couple that have a genuine love for each other and you can truly see that in the pictures of them together. Rebecca and Brett were married at St. George's Episcopal and celebrated and danced the night away at Hillsboro Country Club with Frank Marino and Marino Music. Enjoy the beautiful story taken by Noelle and Mark McCoy of McCoy Studios.

Mary Elizabeth Long styled Rebecca's beautiful locks into a half up, half down do with flowing waves. This beautiful complimented her Reem Acra gown.

The beautiful florals were created by Angela Sadler Designs.

Rebecca's cake, made to replicate her dress, was created by Dulce Desserts.
